Used Book Donations and Trade-Ins
The following guidelines keep our selection as strong as possible:
We accept donations any time we are open, but please abide by the condition limitations below.
If you would like store credit for your books, we look at books by appointment only and offer store credit only.
To make an appointment, please visit this link. Please limit your donation to one carriable box per appointment.
We typically take one hour to review your books and evaluate them for store credit. We require you to stay in the store while we review your books. After evaluating, we will contact you with store credit we are able to offer for the books we’d like to purchase from you. We typically offer 10% of the retail price, but this amount varies depending on condition and demand of the book.
We are currently offering 20% trade credit for Romantasy books.
If there are books we are not interested in purchasing from you, you are expected to take them with you.
All books must be in good or excellent condition — please no broken spines, highlighting or margin notes, no missing/torn pages, no water damage, mold, or odors. We do not accept textbooks or reference books or books with library plastic book covers.

Frequently Asked Questions
We typically offer 10% of the list price in trade credit for books published within the last 10 years. This amount may vary depending on the book’s condition, demand, and our current inventory. We do not pay cash for books.
Books will be processed during your appointment time. Please take the time to browse the store. We will offer you credit during your appointment time. When the appointment is finished, please take your unwanted books with you.
